Commissioned for Newcastle Cathedral, April 2023 'Light At The End Of The Tunnel' exhibition.

This audio work is a reworking of Magical Power Mako's song from 1974 containing the voices of over 30 vocalists singing the lyrics in 20 different languages with musical accompaniment by Magic Arm.

The four line lyrics carry a simplicity that looks to hope in the smallest details; sunshine, nature and sound. A collaboration with trained and non-trained singers, the human voice and the description of sounds to formulate images. We may not understand each language being sung but there is a communal humanity and beauty in
